About The Surgery Total Joint Replacement Surgery

A 44 year old female with a history of joint pain was not responsive to splint therapy and arthroscopy. This is a total joint replacement case study.

Diagnosis: Perforation of articular disc of TMJ.

Procedures Performed: Reconstruction of TMJs with total joint replacement and application of fat graft.

After the surgery, the patient was able to open almost twice her initial opening and gain pain relief from the surgery.
