About the Surgery

44 year old female with history of joint pain which was not responsive to splint therapy and arthroscopy.

Diagnosis: Perforation of articular disc of TMJ.

Procedures performed: Reconstruction of TMJs with total joint replacement and application of fat graft.

After surgery the patient was able to open almost twice her initial opening and gain pain relief from the surgery.
