Maxillary Hypoplasia refers to a condition in which the upper jawbone is abnormally small or underdeveloped compared to the normal size and shape. This can result in a retruded or recessed appearance of the upper jaw, causing various functional and aesthetic issues. In the case of Mandibular Prognathism, it means that the lower jaw protrudes or juts forward beyond the normal position in relation to the upper jaw and other facial structures. This condition is often referred to as an underbite since the lower teeth and jaw extend further forward than the upper teeth when the jaws are closed. Anterior Open Bite is a dental condition characterized by a lack of vertical overlap between the front teeth when the jaws are closed. It can cause difficulty with biting, speech, and aesthetics.
